The Felstead database list 4 peals rung in Chilton, Berks between 1953 and
1956. We have no knowledge of any earlier peals there may have been between
1892 and 1953.

County reorganisation moved the parish of Chilton from Berkshire into
Oxfordshire in 1974. At the restoration
of 2000 the canons were cut off bells 1,2 and the tenor, the bells retuned and hung in a new iron frame by Whites of Appleton.
