          The Fortran Development Environment

Double-click on the !FDE icon in the filer window to
mount the icon on the Icon Bar.

The icon bar menu allows you to save the current options
in the Choices file, or to invoke the date checking
facility which ensures that source files are not
recompiled if there is a more recent object file.

Drag Fortran source files from the 'f' sub-directory in
your working directory to the icon and they will be shown
in the operations window of the FDE. Similarly,
previously compiled object files may be dragged from the
'o' sub-directory, or an executable image from your
working directory. Such files may also be dragged to the
operations window.
Alternatively you can drag in the 'f' or 'o' directories
themselves to load all the files within them.

Select which of the 'Compile', 'Link', 'Squeeze' and
'Run' functions you want, and click on 'Start' to begin
the sequence.

Click the menu button on the 'Compile', 'Link' (or 'Run'
(if it is selected) to open options windows. Select which
additional libraries to use in the linking from the Link
Options.

Click with 'adjust' to remove files or deselect
functions. Use 'select' over a file name to move it to
the top of its list.
