Commercial Models and Kits
There are several suppliers of ready made kits which enable you to make your
own 3D model polyhedra, they may be made of plastic and reusable or printed
on card which you cut out and glue together.

useful publications on polyhedra mainly for schools

- preprinted card cut-outs
- Tarquin publications Stradbroke, DISS, Norfolk, IP21 5JP including the 3rd edition of
'The 59 icosahedra' by Coxeter et al. published Jan 1999 with newly redrawn
figures made on an Acorn computer. They also sell plastic shapes to make 3D models under license
from other suppliers.

stainless steel wire polyhedral models in several sizes suitable
for hanging as a mobile.
- A set of 8 precision
die cast solid aluminium models, painted in blue
or gold, size 3.20cm (1.26inches) in diameter.
They are the 5 Platonic solids and a cuboctahedron, an icosidodecahedron
and a rhombitruncated cuboctahedron. Each set comes in a clear, reclosable,
plastic clamshell container.
